This is a groundbreaking book that is the result of years of research, consulting, and teaching strategic planning and strategy execution professionals across a wide range of organizations and industries around the world. It is pioneering in the application of the strategic business architecture discipline for strategy execution and transformation at a massive scale.
In The Execution Challenge, Whynde and I focus on the often missing "how" of strategy execution, including how to translate strategy and create and maintain an ongoing line-of-sight to execution. We focus on a coherent and cohesive approach that brings together all functions and organizational perspectives needed to effectively execute strategy and that leverages the holistic perspective of strategic business architecture to underpin decision-making.
