Hello colleagues,
I'm exploring ways to incorporate (or strengthen) Community Service and Service Learning opportunities within our Executive MBA program and would love to learn from schools that are already doing this with current students, alumni, or both.
If your program offers service-based experiences, I'd appreciate any insight on the following:
- Do you partner with nonprofits, government entities, or private-sector organizations?
- What does the structure of those partnerships look like (one-time events, ongoing collaborations, embedded coursework, alumni engagement, etc.)?
- Are these experiences required, elective, co-curricular, or alumni-focused?
- In what ways do students and/or alumni contribute to or lead the work?
- How do you identify or select the organizations you serve or partner with?
